Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Cartex Data, LLC (“Cartex,” “we,” “us”) governing your access to and use of Noots.ai (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your account, the security of your credentials, and all activity under your account and organization.
2. The Service
Noots.ai connects meetings to project management — joining meetings, generating summaries and action items, and updating boards. Features and availability may change. AI-generated output may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it.
3. Your content
You retain all rights to the content you submit or connect (meetings, transcripts, documents, tasks). You grant Cartex a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide and improve the Service for you and your organization.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including recording meetings without the consent required by applicable law, infringing others’ rights, attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or using it to build a competing product. You are responsible for obtaining all consents required to record and process meeting participants.
5. Plans, trials & billing
Paid plans and free trials are described at signup and on the pricing page. Trials convert to paid plans unless cancelled before they end. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; fees are billed through Stripe and are non-refundable except where required by law. Plan limits (such as meetings per month, members, and features) apply per your tier.
6. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third parties (e.g., Google, Microsoft, Zoom, Slack, Stripe, transcription and AI providers). Your use of those services is governed by their terms, and we are not responsible for them.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service. Upon termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cartex is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
10. Changes & contact
